My name is Tonia, I am 32 years old, and I am the owner of Uncheckable.

 

I'm an Athlete, a Veteran, a Felon, and a Black Woman! I developed this brand in hopes to create positive, motivational energy and vibe in the world. I remember an interview that Kevin gates conducted; he expressed "Negativity is a thief that steals happiness." That quote motivated me to always maintain a positive energy and I'm grateful for Kevin saying that. This interview motivated me to get a permanent tattoo to express my gratitude and a physical representation of what I strive to be in this world. I want to BE the change that I want to see in the world. 

 

The Uncheckable brand is versatile in so many ways. Initially, being an athlete myself, thinking about the athletic mentality of being uncheckable I always felt uncheckable on the court, like no one could guard me. As my thought process matured  I realized that I can be "uncheckable" in many things in life like my faith, my resilience, my worth, and more. My time in prison wasn't an ideal experience but it didn't check me. Other experiences with adversity couldn't check me. I always bounced back stronger and wiser. 

 

I want YOU to know that you can too. I could never say that it would be easy. It's hard to overcome negative energy at times. It can feel like an emotional roller coaster, but it is not impossible to overcome those emotions and believe in ourselves. No matter what, do not let those negative forces take over, and check us out of the game. The only thing that can check you is GOD, and it is a good thing he does because he wants us to learn from our mistakes, to become wiser so we won't head down a path of self-destruction. 

 

I want this brand to constantly remind people that no matter the mistakes they've made, no matter what it is, you remain uncheckable in your positive energy, goals, and your dreams that you can accomplish anything! Strive to be that relentless and unwavering force that can't be stopped by anyone (except God). Be uncheckable and everything will fall into place in your life.
